Are you knowledgeable about pet behavior?
Yes, the body language of dogs is very important to me, and I am often able to detect unwanted behaviors before they occur and react accordingly.
Are you able to accommodate last-minute requests?
Yes, bookings can be made on the same day if necessary.
Are your dogs spayed or neutered?
Currently, Dolly has been spayed, while Jaxx remains unaltered.
Are you familiar with care for elderly pets?
Yes, I have experience caring for dogs over the age of 10 years and can provide them with reliable care during a long-term stay.
Are you able to recognize signs of an injured or sick animal?
I am experienced at spotting signs of lethargy, limping, and isolation.
Are there any cameras we can view publicly?
Our home is monitored by eight private cameras, but their live feed cannot be viewed by the public.
Are you able to administer injections and oral medication?
At this time, we are able to administer oral medications but not injections.
Are there any obligations outside of home that you must fulfil?
Yes, as part of my part-time employment, I am required to leave the house for at least four hours each week.
Are vaccinations required for my cat or dog?
In general, it is highly recommended, but not required.
Are you trained in First Aid & CPR?
Yes, I am certified by CPRNOW.com in animal CPR and First Aid.
Can you provide references?
Yes, I have 80+ verified 5 star reviews on Rover.com.
Can you provide long term care for animals?
Yes, I have experience caring for animals during long-term visits or frequent visits.
Can you accommodate dogs of different sizes?
For boarding, we accept dogs weighing at least 25 pounds. In the case of house sitting, I am able to care for dogs of any size.
Can you provide babysitting services?
No, I only service pets.
Can you provide constant care?
In this case, we charge 50% more than our normal rate.
Do you have any breed restrictions?
I am able to care for most breeds of dog for house sitting, however we do not accept purebred pit bulls, pitbull mixes,purebred Australlian Cattle dogs , wolf hybrids, purebred chow chows, purebred akitas, or purebreds cane corsos for boarding or daycare.
Do you work from home?
Yes, I work from home or from yours.
Do you have a cancellation policy?
For boarding and house sitting, the cancellation policy is three days, and for drop-in visits, daycare, or walks, the cancellation policy is the same day.
Do you have children?
No, I only have my two fur children Jaxx & Dolly.
During their stay do you offer toys and treats?
There are a variety of treats available to our customers, including lamb, chicken, beef, and peanut butter, as well as toys from Barkbox.com.
Do you have a smoke free home?
No candles are lit in our home, no vaping is conducted, and no smoking is done.
Do you do off leash activities?
In order to ensure the safety of all pets, all unleashed activities will be conducted within a pet-friendly enclosure.
Do you walk more than one dog at a time?
When the owners request it, I walk dogs within the same family together. In any other case, I walk the dogs individually.
Have you been subjected to a background check?
Yes, Rover.com has conducted a background check on me.
How often can my dog be let out to use the bathroom?
With 24/7 access to the doggy door leading out to the backyard, dogs will be able to go to the bathroom at any time they desire. When house sitting in your room, dogs are let out on bathroom breaks according to the frequency you have agreed upon.
How long have you been providing services on Rover.com?
October 2021 marked the beginning of my pet sitting career on Rover.com.
In addition to being insured with Rover.com are you insured elsewhere?
Yes, my current insurance policy is with PCI (Pet Care insurance)
In the course of of a typical pet sitting day, what duties are performed?
Generally, pet sitting duties include providing food and water to the pet, walking the pet, administering medications as necessary, cleaning up after the pet, and providing companionship.
Is there a particular reason you choose this line of work?
The value and passion I placed on my time at home with my dogs led me to join Rover.com and establish a successful career there.
Is it possible to meet and greet with you?
Yes, meet and greets are completely free and optional. If you would like to request one prior to your visit, please do so at any time.
Is my animal with special needs able to be cared by you?
Yes the majority of tasks, other than the administration of a shot, can be performed by me, including special meal preparation and limited activity quiet time which are often utilized by special need pets.
Is your dog boarding service available for more than six consecutive months?
Yes, I am able to accommodate this depending on the details of the job.
Is it possible for my adult intact dog to attend an boarding or daycare?
We currently accept neutered males and intact females must not be in heat.
Is it common for you to have friends and family over?
Families and friends seldom stop by and do not clash with Rover reservations.
Is my dog going to be cared for by someone else?
The dogs are occasionally watched and fed by my fiancé, who lives with me.
Is your yard fenced?
There is a fully enclosed fence around our property.
If there is an emergency, can you transport my pet to a veterinarian?
It is possible for me to do so at any time of the day.
On average, how much time do you spend with my dog on average?
The majority of my day will be spent with your dog, whether I work from your residence or mine.
When a fight occurs, how would you break it up?
In the event of a dog fight or scuffle, I am knowledgeable about and demonstrate safe methods of separating dogs. The wheel barrow technique or, in extreme cases, the choke out technique is used to accomplish this.
What breeds or other types of animals have you worked with previously?
In my personal experience, I have worked with parakeets, various breeds of dogs, frogs, cats, dogs, fish, leopard geckos, and Guinea pigs.
Would you be able to take care of cats, rats, lizards, fish and other animals?
Yes , I have experience with all of these animals and am confident in my ability to provide them with the care they require.
What services do you offer?
Boarding, daycare, house sitting, walks, and drop-in visits are all available.
What is the expected number of dogs around the same time?
Yes, it is possible to have up to six dogs, not including my own, present at any given time.

You can check my availability by viewing my calendar. Most days and hours are convenient for me.
What is the frequency of updates sent to the owners?
Depending on the activity of the dog, an update may be provided every few hours or every hour.

What methods do you use to ensure my dog is mentally and physically stimulated?
To meet the needs of each dog, we offer a variety of toys, puzzles, or human activities such as fetch, tricks and walks.
What is your daily feeding schedule like?
Our feeding times are 7 a.m., 12 p.m., and 5 p.m.
What training techniques are used?
Using voice cues, praise, and doggy gates are some of the methods we use.

What is the maximum distance you can travel for services?
About 1 hour way or 30 miles away.
What kind of leashes do you use?
I use slip leads and regular flat leads.
